Condition Monitoring

After some years with only few wind the availability and the operational costs are becoming more and more important fact regarding the profibility of wind turbines. A Conndition Monitoring System (CMS) is an ideal solution at this point.

Vibration pick-ups are installed at the main elements as e.g. at the gears and at the generator brackets, are integrated with special interfaces directly to the IT-structure, are automatically analysed and are shown under one single user interface. Thus trends and variations concerning the frequency of the vibrations could be observed in detail and necessary reparations could be fulfilled in time.

Servicing times could be optimized by the application of CMS, downtimes due to wear as well as high consequential charges could be reduced and thus an ideal profibility of the wind turbines could be guaranteed. Moreover significant discounts could be arranged with the insurance companies, the dreaded review clause could be avoided and higher indemnifications could be achieved.

The wind 7 offers Condition Monitoring Systems of several suppliers, thus having the whole spectrum for different demands. For instance wind 7 has developed with the DMT from Essen a system, which is exclusively for owners of single or smaller wind turbines.
